I faced a design oversight and had to learn about Audio Return Channel (ARC) to fix the issue. I found that my TV supports this technology after digging through the settings.
I bought the product at the recommendation of Sennheiser customer support to pair with my Sennheiser RS185 wireless headphone base. It was supposed to solve the issues with PCM incompatibility with the Sennheiser wireless base/decoder.
The product causes a problem with the HDMI signal and is identical to another product except for the logo.
