I connected the device to my bluray player's coaxial output and then to a 40 watt amp, resulting in better audio with less hassle and clutter, and no need to mess with a remote control.
I connected the device to the coaxial output of my bluray player, then stereo output to a small 40 watt amp to two nice bookshelf speakers and had better audio with a fraction of the hassles and clutter and no more remote control to mess with.
My receiver only plays L/R of a 5.1 track, and the bitstreams get converted to stereo incorrectly when they should be passed through.
I kept getting HDCP errors while watching a movie from my Roku after connecting the Audio Extractor.
