I bought an optical cable splitter to connect my TV to the StreamLine TV adaptor and ROOFULL Digital-to-Analog Audio Converter, allowing me to send sound to my Yamaha Home Theater Sound System.

I have noticed that the device only converts signals and does not enhance sound quality.
I have complained about the poor sound quality of the device, which cuts in and out. This suggests an issue with the accuracy of the digital-to-analog signal converters.
After wiggling the optical audio cable, I was able to fix the sound interruptions and the converter now produces clear sound.
92% appreciated the durability, although 8% found it wore out
The product is durable as it is small but heavy like a solid block of aluminum.
I think the converter is made of a solid block of aluminum because it is small but heavy.
This device is a replacement for an older one and has good build quality. It looks really nice too.
The digital-to-analog-signal-converter worked fine for almost a month, but suddenly the sound level dropped so low that I could barely hear anything. I tried to tinker with the volume and audio controls on the TV, but nothing worked. Finally, I turned everything off for 20 minutes and re-started, and the excellent sound quality returned. This indicates that the product is not durable and has a problem with its performance.
I have bought music equipment before that lasted longer than this product.
69% found the led indicators helpful, while 31% didn't
The power light is tucked in the back of our device.
According to the manual, both outputs are operational and can be used simultaneously regardless of the input chosen.
I did not mention the led indicators of digital-to-analog-signal-converters.
The power adapter is a bit large, but not difficult to work around.
96% liked the portability, but 4% found it flimsy
The device and a 50' fiber cable worked perfectly for me.
I noticed that the optical cable that comes with the device is quite thin, but long. However, I did not end up using it. This shows that the device is portable and easy to carry around.

After an hour of usage, the sound level dropped to a point where it was barely audible.
90% liked the user interface, but 10% found it confusing
Using this device is easy. I just need to plug my computer into the inputs and plug speakers or headphones into outputs. The device only converts signals and does not affect the sound quality.
The converter is small but heavy, like a solid block of aluminum.
At Roofull, we have an extremely courteous and accommodating support team.
The device is like a solid block of aluminum - small but heavy.
92% praised the heat management, but 8% faced issues
If the DAC and speakers are powered but there is no input, we may experience some white noise which could be related to the heat management of the device.
I connected the Amazon Basics 3.5mm Aux to 2 RCA Adapter Audio Cable to the audio out port on my PC IO shield, then the converter, and finally connected the Toslink cable to the digital TOS link port on my soundbar. I chose Realtek audio in the sound settings to play the 2.1 soundbar under my monitor.
The DAC converts digital to analog output, making it compatible with older amplifiers or computer speakers.
