About Musou RCA Analog to Digital Optical Toslink Coaxial Audio Converter Adapter
Overall Feedback:
81% positive
84% appreciated the wide compatibility, though 16% experienced issues
I connected the Amazon Basics 3.5mm Aux to 2 RCA Adapter Audio Cable to the audio out port on my PC IO shield, then the converter, and finally connected the Toslink cable to the digital TOS link port on my soundbar. I chose Realtek audio in the sound settings to play the 2.1 soundbar under my monitor.
Knowing whether you are going from analog to digital or digital to analog is important as they are two separate devices.
I tried connecting the converter to a Pioneer DJM mixer with no result. I then used the optical out of the cable receiver straight to the soundbar and it worked fine. However, when I used the RCA out of the cable receiver to this converter and optical out of the converter to the soundbar, there was no audio. I also tried switching the RCA cables to ensure that was not the problem.
I experienced random audio cuts out at intervals ranging from a few seconds to several minutes while using the product.
77% liked the connectivity, but 23% found it lacking

When I plug my studio headphones into the mixer, there is a 0.15 second delay from the ADC box.
I have experienced some background white noise from the audio-to-digital converter, which is slightly higher with digital electrical cable, but better with optical.

Based on the information provided, it seems that the converter is not operating properly. The speaker, cables, and connections are all good, so it is reasonable to assume that the issue lies with the converter itself.
