I faced a problem with my TV and sound system being incompatible. I needed a digital-to-analog-signal-converter to make my sound system compatible with my TV.
For my needs, the product did not work well, although it may work great for other things.
I would need to buy an additional amplifier or headphones amp to make the sound quality work as the digital signal relies on amplification.
I had a problem connecting my old sound system to my new TV because it did not have an optical-in and neither did it have the function for it.
