I prefer the flat edge for grip and matte finish of the pen. I also compared it with Apple's pen.
The digital pen is comfortable to hold and has palm sensitivity, smooth writing, and is magnetic to attach to the iPad.

For longer periods of time, the grip of the digital pen could be more comfortable, but a pencil grip would work.
