I frequently use the dehydrator for fruit and have personally checked the temperature range using a meat thermometer. In 8 minutes, with 4 trays set on high, the bottom tray reaches a temperature of 140 degrees.
I have verified that the dehydrator achieves temperature quickly and is only 1 degree off when checked with a wireless BBQ thermometer.
