About Homdox Food Dehydrator Machine with Digital Timer and Temperature Control
Overall Feedback:
68% positive
65% appreciated the temperature control , yet 35% didn't
I noticed that the dehydrator did not reach the temperature it was supposed to, only going up to 158 degrees instead of 160 degrees. However, no one got sick, so I am okay with it.
I faced difficulty in drying out thinly sliced tomatoes even after 20 hours at 130ish temperature and had to finish them off in the oven.
67% liked the capacity, however 33% found it less
I have personally experienced slow dehydrating with scallions and chives, taking almost 8 hours. I can dehydrate things faster in my oven at 180 F.
64% appreciated the timer functionality, yet 36% didn't
I don't like that the dehydrator needs another heater/blower on top. When the jerky or vegetables are done, the ones on top need more time, so I have to set it for longer and wait again.
67% were impressed with the temperature range, whereas 33% weren't
I had a tough time drying out thinly sliced tomatoes in the dehydrator even after 20 hours at 130ish temp.
66% liked the size and design, but 34% desired more
I am dissatisfied with the product as I did not get exactly what I paid for, which was 8 stainless steel trays with 180 degree rotation.
There is no way to cook two ways to place for different sizes and they do not rotate one by one in 180 degrees to get different heights of 3cm and 1.7cm.
63% found the airflow system helpful, while 37% encountered issues
I had a tough time drying out thinly sliced tomatoes in the dehydrator and had to finish them off in the oven anyway.
I noticed that the dehydrator did not reach the temperature it was supposed to, only going up to 158 degrees instead of 160 degrees. However, no one got sick, so I am okay with it.
I can set the timer and temperature on the dehydrator and walk away. The timer goes off adequately so I can hear it and I check on the dehydration process to see if everything was adequately dehydrated or if I need to rehydrate for a little longer. The dehydrator holds the temperature and time settings so I don’t have to reset it each time, unless I am changing the product to one that needs longer time and different temperature.
The timer beeps multiple times during dehydrating, which can be annoying if it goes off while I'm still asleep.
