I noticed that the dehydrator started heating up despite the temperature control being set to 'off'. When I turned it up to 'yogurt' at 115 degrees, the thermometer read 135 degrees after ten minutes.

I appreciated the electronic timer function on the 5 tray model and wish this model had that feature instead of a manual knob.
The timer is not aligned with the OFF spot, and I have to turn the dial quite a distance passed the OFF spot to turn it off. This makes the timer useless, and I am too busy to continuously check the time manually.
