I opted for a smaller version of the dehydrator with 4 shelves instead of 9. Despite its size, I am satisfied with the robustness of the machine.
I see some improvement in the door design compared to my old dehydrator. The door slides down into place rather than simply resting on/hanging from the top front of the case.
