About LUKO 2000 Sq. Ft Dehumidifiers for Large Room and Basements
Overall Feedback:
72% positive
85% appreciated the quiet operation, but 15% found it loud
This dehumidifier is extremely quiet, rated at less than 45 decibels, especially when considering it has a built-in pump.
The outflow of air is silent, indicating that the dehumidifier produces low noise during operation.
The dehumidifier makes some noise and has a bright light, but it's not an issue for me as I am not in the basement all day.
The dehumidifier can be slightly noisy on a hard floor without carpeting to absorb the vibration from the compressor. However, it's a small issue and probably true of any brand and model.
80% were satisfied with the portability features
The dehumidifier is easy to move around with handles and wheels.
The dehumidifier is a little heavy, but it's easy to move around with its wheels.
I found it easy to move the dehumidifier around with the wheel.
75% were satisfied with the drainage, but 25% encountered challenges
I advise arranging for external drain capability as the internal water collector needs frequent emptying.
I wanted the continuous drain feature and set it up next to the basement sink with a hose inside. This feature works like a charm for me.
I presumed the draining hose would be the same size as my previous dehumidifier which had a regular garden hose hook up for continuous draining. However, it is a very narrow draining tube that I cannot use.
76% found the filter maintenance hassle-free
If we have a dehumidifier with a true Hepa filter, it will work wonderfully filtering while dehumidifying.
I found that the filter is washable and needs to be cleaned once a month, making maintenance easy.
After operating the dehumidifier and reading up on them, I realized that the noise level is normal. I even compared it to the air exiting a duct of a forced air heating/cooling system.
The noise level is very low compared to dehumidifiers I have used in the past.
