The dehumidifier has two settings. The top setting removes moisture quicker but is louder when running, while the lower setting is quieter at less than 40dB and can be used at night.
The 'quiet' setting was too loud and distracting for me to have it in the living room.
The dehumidifier makes noise, although not loud, and may not be suitable for use in a bedroom if I am sensitive to sound when trying to fall asleep.
