I have experienced the weather resistance of the decorative-outdoor-lighting-projectors personally as the units have held up really well in a few unexpected rain storms the last few weeks ahead of the holidays.
I placed the device outdoors with a shelter around it as it has a weatherproof rating of IP44. After a few days of rain, I had to reset it by unplugging and plugging it back in, but it still works fine.
