After applying the flex seal liquid, my overflow no longer leaks and it has held up well against sunlight and pool chemicals for three months.
I experienced water leakage into the room below even from light rains. After applying the deck-sealer, I tested it by flooding the deck and found that there was no leakage. The application was easy and the look and texture of the deck-sealer was similar to rubber cement. I used the clear variant and it dried nice and thin with just a little sheen, hardly noticeable on the painted deck.
