About Eco Advance Concrete/Masonry Siloxane Odorless Spray-On Application Waterproofer Concentrate
Overall Feedback:
87% positive
84% highlighted the waterproofing feature , but 16% struggled
After applying the product, I observed that the water beaded up on the concrete and either ran off or evaporated over time. I have noticed the same thing each time it rains.
Water beads on Behr sealed sections, but Eco Advance Waterproofer treated sections soak in, as I noticed.
86% were impressed by the durability, but 14% raised concerns
After raining, my patio is absorbing water in the area where I applied the deck-sealer compared to the area where I did not apply it.
I noticed some cracking, which indicates that the deck-sealer may not be very durable.
To fully seal the concrete surface and achieve water repelling effects for up to 3 years, I need to form additional layers of covers with up to 7 coatings. This suggests that the deck-sealer may not be very durable and requires multiple coatings to achieve the desired effect.
78% were satisfied with the drying time, but 22% weren't
The deck-sealer dries after spraying.
The product dried quickly and did not change the appearance of the stone.
I waited for 3-4 days and grouted the tiles. However, the wet grout created a 1/4 inch moist border all around the mosaic tile.
75% appreciated the breathability
The water beaded up and ran off like it's supposed to do.
After drying and curing, water beads on the pavers after each rain storm. I can see how the sealer penetrates and seals the pavers.
I applied the deck-sealer around the front of my house and now water beads up on the brick.
After applying the product, I observed that the water beaded up on the concrete and either ran off or evaporated over time. I have noticed the same thing each time it rains.
I have not experienced any leaking yet, but only time will tell how well it holds up in the long run.
