I like that the unit has both a keypad and is capable of unlocking using Apple watch.
I purchased the Yale Assure 2 because it is compatible with HomeKit out of the box with no bridge device required.
The WiFi lock is only compatible with the old 2.4GHz network.

I bought this lock because of the auto unlock feature.
If the lock can't reliably detect its state, I can't trust it to securely protect my home unless I physically look at it. This indicates a problem with the locking mechanism of the deadbolt.

I was disappointed that the company did not replace a basic part of the lock even though it was expensive and I had only used it for a week.
Proper alignment between the deadbolt and strike plate is important to avoid poor performance. It can cause the deadbolt to hit the strike plate and retract, making it seem like the door is locked when it is not.
