64% appreciated the locking mechanism, while 36% didn't
The locking mechanism requires the hole on the door frame to be perfectly aligned with the bolt and is weak.
The locking mechanism of deadbolts is essential for this lock to perform correctly. If the bolt does not close easily, it will jam while closing and the lock will enter an endless cycle of opening and closing in an attempt to seat the deadbolt.
I have installed the lock on a door with a door closer and it locks even with the door open. I have faced the issue of the lock banging against the door frame a few times already.
69% liked the material durability, but 31% did not
After the first winter, the faceplate of the lock started wearing off and cracking where I put my fingers. I guess it's due to UV or weather.
I noticed that the internal dividers and parts rattled around, indicating poor material durability of the deadbolt.
I have to change the batteries every 3-4 weeks, indicating that the lock's battery durability is not good.
67% found it weather resistant, while 33% were disappointed
The touchscreen responds well in both hot and cold weather.
The slightest resistance will stop it from locking properly.
