About Hipeak 750W Folding Electric Bike for Adults 48V 15Ah Ebike
Overall Feedback:
89% positive
75% were satisfied with the braking system; however, 25% weren't
The disc brakes on my cycling-bike make a modest sound when braking hard, but it's unobjectionable. The brake lever effort is easy and I have no problem modulating the brakes. It's easy to apply the brakes proportionally.
I noticed that the brakes are mechanical and require a lot of squeezing to engage when going down steep trails. Hydraulic brakes would be a great upgrade, but at this cost point, mechanical brakes work fine. However, it's difficult to pull the lever to brake down a steep trail.
90% highlighted the weight
I compared the weight of two cycling-bikes and found that Hipeak weighs about 10 pounds less than Fucare.
80% found the handlebar design comfortable, but 20% experienced hand fatigue
I set the handlebar to the lowest position possible, but it still feels like apehanger handlebars like on a Harley motorcycle. I am looking for a different brand more suitable for my wife.
I have received feedback from my wife about the bike's handlebar design. She pointed out that the handlebars appear high and resemble ape-hangers when she rides with the seat lowered to its maximum level.

I find the handlebar measurements odd and adding anything to them is tricky. I am considering replacing the handlebars, throttle, and grips. This is my negative feedback regarding the handlebar design of cycling-bikes.
The controls are placed in a way that I don't have to take my hands off the handlebars to make adjustments, and they are easy to understand.
