90% praised the compatibility with various tools, although 10% encountered compatibility issues
I have noticed that cut-off wheels wear down faster on thicker metals with heavy-duty use, but this is expected.
Within 5-10 seconds, I noticed that the blades started chunking and were out of round, indicating incompatibility with the cut-off wheel.
Cut-off wheels are only for cutting, not for grinding.
87% found it cut through materials effortlessly
The DEWALT Cutting Wheel set has been a game-changer for my metalworking projects. These wheels make cutting through various metals a breeze, and I have put them to good use on several DIY tasks.
These cut-off wheels last two times longer than the Harbor Freight brand, thanks to the Temper Point grains. I have used them for sharpening lawn mower blades and cutting cattle fence wire. They also cut through a large implement bolt on a bush hog gearbox in a matter of seconds. I compared them with .125 wheels and found that the thin kerf makes for a much faster and cleaner cut with much less effort and heating of the metal.

I tried a grinding disk first and it melted the nylon on the nylon insert locking nuts due to excessive heat.
I cut heavy fence wire and the metal got hot enough to melt its way through.
This cutting wheel is thicker than Dewald's steel cutting thin wheel, making it more expensive but better for difficult jobs where the thinner blade can hook up or jam, causing broken blades.
