I was able to cut through the cast iron pipe with ease using the cut-off wheels.
I found that the cut-off wheels easily cut through the cast iron pipe.
I have used other cutting blades on the same type of metal pieces before and never had that problem.
I tried the benchmark cutting discs but did not like them because they were not balanced.
86% found it cut through materials effortlessly, but 14% experienced slow cutting
The discs cut well, lasted a while, and were priced right.
I have used three other brands that wore down, but my first disc still has life.
Cutting through the cast iron pipe with ease, like butter, is what I noticed about the cut-off-wheels.
On the third cut while cutting metal, I felt something bouncing off the top of my full face mask and stopped to look at the blade. I found that it was breaking apart and chunks were coming off.
The cut-off-wheels cut steel but were pretty bad and disappeared within seconds of use. So, I had to spend more time swapping blades than actually cutting with them.
89% appreciated the long-lasting durability, though 11% found it wore out quickly
Cutting through carbon steel is a breeze with the cut-off wheels made of much better materials than the cheap Harbor Freight ones that kept shattering.
I have used three other brands before this and they wore down, but I am still on my first disc of this brand and it still has life.
While cutting metal, the blade started breaking apart and chunks were coming off. I've used other cutting blades on the same type of metal pieces before and never had this problem.
The cut-off wheels are not durable and disappear within seconds of use. It is difficult to cut with them as they need to be swapped frequently.
96% found it easy to handle and maneuver, but 4% struggled with it
These cut-off wheels are as good as any higher priced disks I have used for years and cost much less.
Cutting through carbon steel is easy with the new cut-off wheels made of better materials.
The cut-off wheels are thin, balanced and cut really well.
The price was right and the discs cut well and lasted a while.
With these cut-off wheels, I resolved the problem of blades skipping and bouncing off the material. They are balanced, thin, and cut really well.
The cut-off wheels are not easy to use as they disappear within seconds of use and require more time to swap blades than actual cutting.
I used the cut-off-wheels and on the third cut, I felt something bouncing off the top of my full face mask and I stopped and looked at the blade and it was breaking apart. Chunks were coming off. I have used other products of cutting blades and I have never had that problem on the same type of metal pieces I was cutting today.
90% liked its ability to withstand high temperatures, but 10% experienced wheel degradation
The cut-off-wheels are balanced, thin, and cut really well.
Cutting through carbon steel is a breeze with the better quality cut-off wheels, unlike the cheap Harbor Freight ones that kept shattering.
I noticed that chunks were coming off the blade while cutting metal pieces. This indicates that the blade may not have good heat resistance.
Chunks are coming off the blade while cutting metal pieces, indicating poor heat resistance.
I was impressed with the cutting performance of the cut-off wheels. I cut two 1/4 inch solid steel rods and then three old horseshoe posts that were put up in the early 60s in my parents back yard. It cut through them like butter, and 2 of them had concrete in them.
I had to replace the cut-off-wheels with a store branded disc as they did not last long. I went through all 5 of them in about 10' of cuts.
