I used a rubber roller with the product and made sure the surface was well sanded and dust free, indicating that it is compatible with a variety of surfaces.
For normal vinyl, the cut pressure setting on my Cricut is around 171, and for vinyl+, it's 176. However, this particular vinyl requires a cut pressure setting of 205-208 to work well.
