About Waterdrop 10UA Under Sink Water Filter System
Overall Feedback:
95% positive
90% praised for its modern design, though 10% found it bulky
The package exceeded my expectations and was of high level.
Installing it was easy except for the push fittings.
The quality of our product seems decent, but time will tell. Our hoses are made of stainless steel braided with stainless fittings.
The filter's design and build are poorly thought out.
91% found it easy to clean, but 9% had to clean it frequently
Filtered water is great for washing fruits and veggies.
The installation was quick and easy, taking no more than 10 minutes, with no runs, drips, or errors. I spent more time getting my tools together and cleaning out the place under the sink than the installation itself.
After first installing, I noticed that the water was foggy but the instructions suggested letting it run for 5 minutes to flush out the filter.
I did not mention anything specific about the ease of cleaning of the countertop-water-filter.
94% found it easy to install
I can install this system in under 30 minutes, which is easier than the 3M system.
I was able to install it within 7 minutes by ensuring that the filter was installed level and the hose lines were properly secured and out of the way. The installation was easy.
Installing the whole system underneath the sink and adding a faucet makes it easy to install.
86% liked the fast water flow rate, but 14% experienced slow flow issues
After a month of use, my flow rate has already slowed down by 50%.
The flow rate has significantly decreased, resulting in an average of 2 months per filter. This negatively impacts my initial idea of cost-benefit, unless I am okay with filling a cup in 5 minutes.
Within two weeks of using the filter, the water flow to my kitchen faucet had slowed to probably 50% of what it should be.
92% praised for its superior purification, but 8% noticed lingering taste issues
The taste of our water is a huge improvement over the unfiltered chlorine flavor of tap water where we live.
It takes an average of 5.14 seconds to fill a 2-cup measure before the filter and 6.6 seconds after the filter.
89% like the perfect size and weight, but 11% found it heavy
I like that I can choose larger and better filters like WD-RF15-UF, which I bought separately.
I don't like to have things out on the counter, implying that the size and weight of the filter may be a factor.
The overall durability and build quality of the system inspire confidence. It feels solid and well-constructed, assuring me that it will continue to deliver exceptional filtration performance for a long time.
I think the design seems well-built, but it's too soon to give a 5-star rating.
