There are vents on the top towards the back on the left hand side and also on the rear of the machine on the right hand side.
The cooling function is inconsistent and not mentioned in the manual. It can scare me when the fan is running after opening the door.

I find that the microwave has great power, but I rarely need the full 1200 watts. It's important to adjust cook times to avoid overcooked food.
The bigger microwave has a helpful sensor cooking feature that automatically turns off when the food is fully cooked.
I noticed that some foods were undercooked and had to be cooked again or had to add time to get the food properly cooked.
