It is easy to clean the blade bottom and wash out the cup.
I find it very easy to clean the blades and cups. I give them a good rinse and dry, and clean the cups as I would any other cups.
To clean the blender easily, put a drop of dish soap and turn it on for a short time.
The blending power and ease of cleaning are definitely a plus.

I am dissatisfied with the blending power of the device. It is not any better than my previous one that stopped working well. I have to blend, stop, stir and shake three to four times. I suggest going with a more powerful model and I like the two cups with lids. It is pretty easy to clean.
I have never had any trouble with the blender, but it is not strong enough to chop frozen fruits for smoothies.

I have complained about the quality of the blade unit. A brown goo started appearing on the outside portion of the blade unit and some brown dusty stuff was spitting out of the bottom of the unit.
