I found the cotton pads to be soft and silky, and they absorb toner better and sit more fully against the face.
The rounds feel as soft as disposable cotton rounds and are better than other brands I have tried that have a slight towel feel.
I have been using reusable cotton pads for years and was nervous about the quality of this set since my previous one was from an expensive boutique. But, I found that these pads are just the same - soft, thick, and wash well.
The cotton pads have two textures on each side, one being silky soft and the other being woven, and feel like silk.
