About Gotham Steel Hammered Copper Collection 20 Piece Premium Pots and Pans Set
67% praised the sturdy construction, while 33% experienced wear and tear
The pots and pans do not behave like good ones.
In April, the lining on my pots and pans started wearing off.
In my brand new, never lived in apartment, the cookware scratched up my electric stovetop.
74% loved how easy it was to clean, but 26% had issues with stuck-on food
It is very easy to clean, usually just a wipe with a paper towel is enough.
The cookware is difficult to clean as the markings are permanently engraved in the pan and I am afraid to scour it.
The cookware is beautiful and easy to clean, but I am not happy with the copper-like covering as it is starting to peel off on some pots.
62% praised the comfortable grip, but 38% found it bulky
I burnt my hand on the handle of the pan while picking it up after cooking on the stove top. The handle is not comfortable to grip and can cause burns.
One of the handles is already getting loose and food is sticking to those little spots. This could be a problem with the grip comfort of our cookware.
The handles of the cookware get hot very fast, which could be uncomfortable while handling it.
My rubber gaskets protecting the handles from heat have broken off, causing the handles to heat up as expected.
75% appreciated the even heat distribution
I have used the skillets a couple of times for simple dishes and there were no complaints regarding heat distribution, sticking, etc.
I am able to boil recipes on medium heat, indicating that the cookware set has good heat distribution.
73% loved the durable non-stick coating, while 27% had issues with it chipping
The only difference between Hexclad and Gotham Steel is the manufacturing process of our pan, which is sprayed with nonstick coating in the same way as Gotham Steel.
The non-stick coating of the frying pans became ineffective around 6 months of use.
I have been experiencing issues with the non-stick coating of the pan. Despite daily use, the food started sticking to certain areas after a month or so. Now, after 90 days of ownership, I am unable to cook without the food sticking and caking up.
The coating on my pans has started to crack and stay scorched. They are not as non-stick as advertised.

66% praised the oven-safe design, but 34% experienced handle damage
I experienced a rivet popping off while cooking, which could have caused harm.
Despite the cookware being oven-safe, the care instructions advise against using high heat on the stove.
After doing my own research, I have concluded that coated copper pots and pans and cookware sets are not safe for long-term consumption.
I am concerned about using the bakeware pans because of the razor-sharp edges on the cookie sheets, cake pans, and square pans, except for the muffin pan.
69% loved the convenient storage options, but 31% found it bulky
These new pots and pans are nonstick and easy to clean, unlike the old cookware which was heavy and difficult to clean.
The cookware set looks beautiful when hung for display.
I suggest avoiding metal contact with the interior of the cookware set.
I am having trouble finding space to store 2 pans on the counter.
