About HOME HERO Stainless Steel Kitchen Utensil Set -
Overall Feedback:
83% positive
80% praised the stylish design, while 20% found it outdated
The handles are comfortable and the pieces are relatively lightweight, considering everything is stainless steel.
The Home Hero premium kitchen set has an attractive design and comprehensive collection of utensils, but falls short in terms of quality and durability.
I cannot use the ice cream scoop because it bends and can break due to poor product quality.
I was initially attracted to the set because of its stainless design. However, upon receiving it, I was disappointed with the gap between the handle and tools that allows water and debris to enter. I also dislike the machine-pressed grooves on the back of the tools, which were designed for strength but were unsuccessful and make it harder to clean.
81% liked how easy they were to clean
The utensils have stood up to several washes in the sink, indicating that they are easy to clean.
The tongs with silicone on the ends are easier to clean compared to my old, all metal version.
I have not faced any issue with stretching while cleaning the utensils and they clean nicely.
The utensils have a nice weight and clean up nicely in the dishwasher.
81% liked the comfortable grip, but 19% found it too small
The cooking-utensil-set handles are comfortable and the pieces are relatively lightweight despite being stainless steel.
The utensil set collects liquid in the handles and is not solid.
The utensils are uncomfortable to grip due to the lack of angle between handle and implement.
I have weak hands and broke the handle off of the can opener while opening a can. This indicates that the grip comfort of the cooking-utensil-set is not good enough for me.
81% praised the heat-resistant design, but 19% noticed warping
My utensil set got damaged after scooping ice cream once, indicating that it is not heat resistant.
I had to throw away one of the flippers after two hand washes as it came apart and would not go back together.
Occasional rust buildup can be found on the bottom of utensils.
80% praised the high-quality stainless steel, while 20% found it flimsy
I had to return the set because it looked cheap and I knew it would not last. Despite liking the completeness of the set, I had to return it due to its poor quality with scratches all over the utensils.
Many items in the set suffer from poor construction and durability.
I tried using the can opener but it broke the first time I twisted the handle. I'm not sure about the quality of the garlic press either.
I am disappointed with the quality of the cooking utensil set. The gap between the handle and tools allows water and debris to enter, and the machine-pressed grooves on the back of the tools are not successful in providing strength and make it harder to clean.
The tongs have a piece to pull outwards which keeps them closed.
