I can adjust the recline a bit to help with the issue.
I had to put the front seat really far forward so that the car seat wouldn't hit it when I spin it. I can adjust the recline a bit to help with this.

I am dissatisfied with the durability of the convertible car seat. The middle buckle and groin buckle are made of cheap light plastic and the fabric tab covering the groin buckle cannot be fixed in place. It is also difficult to insert the baby as the belt cannot be kept off to the sides.
