About Logitech MX Ergo Plus Advanced Wireless Trackball
Overall Feedback:
87% positive
85% appreciated the adjustable settings
I didn't realize how much ease changing my hand position about 30deg would do for my health. There was a lingering tightness in my forearm that has subsided and my wrist is not as sore, all in just 3 days of use.
I am still trying it with and without the 'plus' wedge under different settings, so having the option to adjust ergonomics with the wedge is worthwhile.
The side button is extremely useful for me as I use large dual screens and it allows for two speed settings.
76% liked the easy connectivity, but 24% found it difficult
I can connect the trackball to two separate computers with a click of the 1-2 button on top. It is helpful for multi-computer setups and connected via bluetooth.
I dislike the connectivity of the product and am facing a specific problem with it.
85% liked its durability, but 15% experienced wear and tear
I did not find any information about durability in the review.
After the first year of using the device, holding down the left mouse button became glitchy. After troubleshooting, it became clear that it's a hardware issue. I keep the device clean, so apparently one of the components just degraded after a year.
I suggest getting a protection plan when buying it as it may require repairs in a couple of years.
90% appreciated the comfortable grip
At the steeper angle, my hand stays in place thanks to the rubberized surface's grip.
When I tilt the trackball with the optional extra tilt pad attached, it is extremely comfortable.
77% praised the high-quality sensor, while 23% experienced accuracy issues
The sensor quality has improved with options of 10, 20, or 30 degrees instead of just 0 or 20 degrees built into the MX.
The trackball is extremely precise and I can't say it's better than the M570, but it's at least as good.
The trackball needs frequent cleaning and dirt can get stuck in the recessed optical sensor.

At first, the ball may be stiff, but it will improve with use.
