About ELECOM 2.4GHz Wireless Finger-operated Trackball Mouse
Overall Feedback:
71% positive
73% appreciated the adjustable settings, but 27% found them limited
I initially thought I would have issues with the right click button being in a different spot than what I'm used to, but it turned out to be not bad at all. I can see myself adjusting to it easily.
I noticed that there is a switch at the bottom of the trackball which can be used to adjust the tracking to low/high. If set to high, it will provide greater accuracy but will reduce the battery life.
There's a switch at the bottom of the trackball that adjusts the tracking to low/high. Setting it to high provides greater accuracy but reduces battery life.
I suggest adding more height to the back of the trackball for full hand support.
The placement of the back/forward and scroll wheel is uncomfortable for my thumb to reach without adjusting my entire palm.
I feel that there is too much tension on the ball and it is too light.
73% liked the easy connectivity, but 27% found it difficult
After using it for only one day, I experienced hand ache and the bluetooth connection did not work.
70% liked its durability, but 30% experienced wear and tear
The trackball feels robust and compact, offering plenty of sensibility and feedback when navigating the internet or working on applications, indicating that it is well-built and durable.
MTE was the best investment I ever made on a computer accessory as I had to nurse along 6 of them between us.
The trackball requires extra effort to click and causes arm pain after some use.
The product has a great design and feel, but its longevity is very poor.
81% appreciated the comfortable grip, 19% found it uncomfortable
I have used the trackball for just a few months and the rubber grips are already destroyed.
89% liked the quiet operation, but 11% found it noisy
The scrolling feels really smooth with no tracking issues, indicating that the noise level of my computer-trackball is low.
I find the soft, high pitch whine emitted by the trackball unacceptable.
During play, the noise level of the computer-trackball leads to finger fatigue and sloppiness.
I initially thought I would have issues with the right click button being in a different spot than what I'm used to, but it turned out to be not bad at all. I can see myself adjusting to it easily.
I would prefer a smaller trackball like the Kensington Bluetooth SlimBlade Trackball Mouse Wireless K72281US, which has Bluetooth connectivity instead of RF, saving me a USB port on my Dell XPS 18.
When I use this trackball, I find the cursor speed a little too fast.
