For me, the speakers work great for watching youtube and listening to music at a moderate level, although they are not very loud.
The sound quality is garbled, muffled, and notifications make horrible noise.

I can turn off the LEDs if I like. There is a maintained push button on the back that clicks on/off so they'll stay that way the next time I power it up. I personally like the LEDs, so I leave them on. They aren't too bright or flashy, but just right in my opinion.
The RGB LED Lights are a nice touch, cycling softly through the RBB spectrum without being obnoxious or harsh to the eye. They have a mellow vibe but still give off a 'cool' factor.
I appreciate the speaker's real volume knob that clicks to turn it on/off and maintains its volume setting without annoying beeping sounds for every increment adjusted up or down.
I appreciate the feature of LED lights that can be shut-off independently from the sound.
