About Razer Leviathan V2: Multi-Driver PC Gaming Soundbar
Overall Feedback:
77% positive
66% found them to be exceptional, but 34% struggled
I have complete control over the speaker and RGB with the app.
In the digital mode, the sound is garbled and incomprehensible, making it unusable. However, the analog audio mode has appropriate audio quality, but adjusting the volume is inconvenient as it can only be done through the CLI by adjusting the PCM1 level.
76% were impressed with the sound quality
The sound quality is good but the subwoofer is not up to the mark. I compared it with another speaker(Logitech) which sounded better.
The sound quality is great with perfect bass and full and satisfying sound while listening to music and watching movies.
The sound quality is excellent even at level 15 for my small desk setup and it gets insanely loud. I will probably never need to go over 40 when I am sitting right in front of it and even that feels way too loud.
75% highlighted the size and form factor
The sound bar has a compact size and fits right under my monitor without taking up any extra desk space. It also uses USB C which is nice.
I think the computer-speakers are a good size and use the space well. They are about 14 inches long, 4 inches high, and 4 inches deep.
79% appreciated the connectivity options, but 21% were dissatisfied
When I connect the speaker to Bluetooth, the volume is comfortable, but I have to deal with dicey/dodge Bluetooth connections.
I have noticed that the speaker only connects via a usb-c to usb-a or Bluetooth, making it almost impossible to connect to gaming consoles depending on which one I’m using. I wish it had a 3.5mm jack option.
I found that the speaker has various connectivity options such as Bluetooth, NFC, and input ports. However, I faced occasional Bluetooth connectivity issues while streaming audio from my mobile device. I also wished for more advanced features like Wi-Fi connectivity and support for a wider range of audio codecs.
69% were satisfied with the compatibility, but 31% faced problems
The sound bar only comes with a USB-C to USB-C cable, so I need a USB-C to USB-A adapter if my PC doesn't have a USB type C port.
78% were satisfied with the audio output power, but 22% raised concerns
I find the sound to be too loud and it can potentially damage the speakers they are meant to support.
The speaker is self powered but only peaks at 15w.
In digital mode, the speakers have standard volume control but the sound is garbled and unusable. The max volume is very quiet and needs to be pushed above 100%. Analog audio mode has appropriate audio quality but volume control doesn't work with PCs volume slider or sound bar buttons.
I can control the volume and bass level of my music, pause it, and make dinner without having to keep running back to the laptop/speakers like I used to.
I was surprised by the quality of audio from the speaker that fits perfectly under my monitor.
