About PreSonus Eris 3.5BT Gen 2 3.5-inch Powered Desktop Speakers
Overall Feedback:
83% positive
84% were impressed with the sound quality
The sound quality of gen 2 is much better than gen 1. I had a lot of trouble getting the sound right with gen 1. The left speaker was louder than the right one and the sound was uneven and echoy. I have personally used both gen 1 and gen 2 speakers and faced this problem. Based on my experience, I can say that gen 2 has better sound quality.
I was pleasantly surprised with the sound quality of the speakers. There was no vibration or rattling at higher volumes.
I was surprised by the exceptional sound quality of the PreSonus Eris 3.5 speakers, which I found after returning the Klipsch Promedia 2.1 THX speakers.
86% highlighted the size and form factor
I did not want the Adam sub mainly due to its size, so I opted for this sub and the sound quality improved.
75% found them to be exceptional, but 25% struggled
I appreciate the feature set of these speakers, including the TRS jack input option, lack of a 'brick' power supply, separate power switch on the left speaker, and basic low/high knobs on the rear.
At lower volumes, I have to fiddle with the knob to get both speakers working and the fine control of volume is scratchy.
76% were satisfied with the compatibility
I can use the speakers with cables for 3.5mm aux, a conversion from 3.5mm to RCA, and straight RCA to RCA, as well as Bluetooth.
88% liked the bass performance, but 12% didn't
The bass reproduction is tight and boom-free with good vibes falling gently down to 50 Hz.
The bass is sufficient for video games in my apartment and I can turn it down to avoid disturbance.
The bass performance of these computer-speakers is horrible and it sounds like there is no tweeter in the speaker.

I was disappointed with the sound quality of the speakers and tried to adjust the treble and bass, but they still didn't deliver.
