About M-Audio M-Track Solo USB Audio Interface
66% liked the rugged and durable build, while 34% found it flimsy
The sound and build quality is fine, but there are some issues with it.
At about 9.5/10, the volume jumps from roughly 50% to roughly 98%, making it unusable for my purposes.
The switches on the front of the device feel cheaply made and not sturdy.
I gave a rating of 4/5 due to the light build and clipping issues at level ten of the gain Nobs.

63% appreciated the variety of connectivity, but 37% found them limited
I set up the device in just 5 minutes, from opening the box to plugging in the Rode Caster Mic and outputting audio.
The device worked perfectly for both purposes and the installation of drivers was easy enough and worked out of the box.
The audio quality from the Mbox to the computer is as good as other more expensive interfaces due to the advancement in technology.
The signal exits a DI box via XLR cable and pumps into my 2000s 175 watt JBL pro stage monitor/amp.
75% liked the size and weight, but 25% found it heavy
I should have read the specs before buying this unit as it is bigger than I expected. This is negative feedback regarding the size and weight of the computer-recording-audio-interfaces.
This device is so light that even a neutrino collision could knock it off the desk with considerable force.
I feel that the new device is incredibly cheap and lightweight compared to the old one, which was solid and had weight due to the cord. This gives me a negative experience with the size and weight of the device.
The unit is too light and the front inputs constantly move out of place due to cable movements when I move my instrument or mic.

70% praised for its crisp and clear sound, while 30% noticed some distortion
The M-track Duo is a good sounding audio interface.
The audio quality is crisp, clean, clear, and full-bodied with decent highs, mids, and lows.
The M-track Duo is a modest quality audio interface with good sound.
I found that the microphone I was using was fairly quiet, so I needed the gain pretty high. Somewhere in the 8-9 out of 10 range would suffice. However, there is a point at about 9.5/10 where the volume jumps from roughly 50% to roughly 98%, with nothing in between. This makes it useless for my purposes.

The interface is easy to set up, looks nice, has plenty of options, and the product support has been awesome.

I need to use filters to correct background sound, distortion, and unwanted pops and filters from enunciating words or clipping from the recording distance in the audio interface.
I am having trouble with the line inputs as there is a consistent hissing in the background of audio and for instruments too.
