I noticed that the cable that came with the product is faulty after not using it for a long time. This could be a quality issue.

84% found it compatible, but 16% experienced compatibility issues
The device is compatible with JamUp XT or JamUp Pro by Positive Grid, providing better sound quality than the IK Multimedia program.
As long as I receive a call on my phone or tablet with Skype or Facetime and push the right buttons, the setup is 100% reliable.
I needed a guitar adapter to use all the features of the app I purchased.
This device is not compatible with newer Macbooks.
I am frustrated with the compatibility of this device with Android. IK does not care much for Android and Android does not much care about audio creation, resulting in a laggy operating system sound structure.
79% appreciated the variety of connectivity, but 21% found them limited
With the iRig, I no longer have to mesh two programs together for accurate playback.
The ports are nice and solid.
I have complained that the iRig 2 is super noisy. Tech support states that it is the nature of using a mini plug to connect, but I have used a 1/4 inch to mini adapter before and there wasn't this kind of static and hum.
88% liked the size and weight, but 12% found it heavy
It is difficult to keep the iPhone in place while lying down or in a stand due to the pressure caused by the weight of the iRig, 1/4 cable, and headphones.
The only downside of the product is that it is very light and difficult to use with an instrument cable.
I am conscious of the change in feel when I play due to the unit's latency, despite its nice features.
76% praised for its crisp and clear sound, while 24% noticed some distortion
When I use it for modelling, the sound quality is much better.
The sound quality is excellent for my intended use and there is no feedback yet. The external gain control is also nice.
When there is gain/distortion in the sound, the difference in sound quality is more subtle than I expected.
The sound output sounds good in headphones but is not recorded to my phone.
80% found the user interface intuitive, but 20% found it confusing
I suggest using JamUp XT or JamUp Pro by Positive Grid for better sound quality in modelling instead of the IK Multimedia program.
Setting up the interface with my android phone was very easy. It took me less than an hour to figure out the right way to connect it to the module.

Latency is a deal breaker for me as it affects my relationship with the instrument.
The product is made of plastic and some people are worked up about it. However, I think it is good construction and all the jacks seem good and strong.
Setting the gain is quick and simple with one hand using the level meter LEDs and large knob.
