The knobs work properly and the sound quality is better than my computer's pre-built sound card.
The product has a really nice build quality with loads of features. It's also the cheapest audio interface I could find that does both Mic leads AND Guitar leads.
The mixer has good build quality with smooth knobs and sliders, clicky buttons, and no hiss.

Playback via USB is much better than connecting the laptop using a phono converter from the headphone socket as it removes all earth loop problems that can occur with multiple connections and the noise from some laptop power supplies.

If you want a bigger mixer, this one is not for you as it is the size of my hand.
The unit is only 1/4 the size of the other unit.
