I was able to angle the WiFi connector towards the router and place it far away with its long cable, which increased my stable connection 5X what it was.
The cable is long and flexible, giving more flexibility to mount the antenna than the original one.
After plugging in the antennae, my connection speed improved significantly.
With a longer cable, I found that the Eightwood antenna provided more options to find the ideal location. However, the best signal I could achieve was -70dBm compared to -59 dBm for the original ASUS sharkfin that is limited by its short cable.
