I found a mobile app called Info cell lite to locate the nearest tower and measured the distance to aim the antenna.

I installed the antenna in a tough location with only 1 bar on the router, but now it runs steadily at 3 bars and has increased the down speeds to 60mbps and the up to 13mbps.
