Since these antennas are longer and have a narrower beamwidth pattern than a shorter antenna, I may need to adjust my angle slightly to get the best signal.
I had to use needle-nose pliers to stabilize the nut on the card itself, untwist the antenna, and stabilize the connection with the card to fix the issue. I also warn not to do it by feel and actually look at the connection to make sure you are adjusting the antenna, and not overturning.

For my specific application, the antenna increased the 2.4Ghz WiFi signal strength by 2 bars in a straight line with few obstacles.
After using the wifi antennae, my wifi signal strength improved significantly and I could be hard-wired. I also learned how to position the wifi antennae for better signal strength.

This antenna is great to replace the junk gifted with an ASUS AC3200 router.
The device's build is a bit brittle and it can easily flip back down to its original position, making it difficult to stay upright.

The range of the antenna is stellar. I was able to pick up 2.4ghz wifi signals from consumer routers well over 2 miles away in a rural open area, which is better than any previous antennas I have used.
I have experienced a significant increase in wifi range, from 15% to 30% reception in weak spots, and even stronger spots that had 60% before are now near 100% every time.
By using these 10db antennas, our signal increased between 44 to 47.
The cameras are supposed to work up to 400ft away, but in reality, they constantly show 'out of range' message even at 150ft.

Based on the signal type, I provided information on the required antenna. For broadcasting on both 2.4ghz and 5ghz, a dual band antenna is needed. For separate broadcasting, antennas optimized for each frequency should be searched for.
