About Blue Yeti USB Microphone - Blackout Edition
Overall Feedback:
79% positive
72% found the connectivity straightforward, while 28% struggled
I used the tablet for a zoom interactive lecture and it was a winner.
I thought the item would be compatible with my PC, but it was not.
78% praised the sound quality, but 22% noticed background noise
I love this mic! The recorded sound quality is amazing and the impedance is just right for recording.
On Discord, the sound quality is crystal clear. The microphone has a premium metal casing and a heavy metal stand with a rubbery-grippy bottom to prevent accidental knocking, as my friend mentioned.
I initially thought the audio sounded nice, but after comparing it to other microphones, I realized it doesn't meet the standards of good professional quality recording microphones.
As soon as I plugged it in, the sound quality was garbled.
75% liked the portability
The mic has a premium feel with a metal casing and a relatively heavy metal stand with a rubbery-grippy bottom, making it easy to carry around.
76% found the compatibility helpful, yet 24% encountered problems
The microphone plugs into a mini-usb that leads to a male usb cable and is compatible with my PC.
I did not receive any compatible wires to plug in the microphone. The model requires a mini-b to USB, but it comes with a USB 2.0 A Male to B Male cord which is not compatible.
81% were impressed with the build quality, yet 19% weren't
I love the sturdy and adjustable base that holds the mic.
The microphone is durable and can withstand drops.
After about an hour of use, the mic stopped working.
73% appreciated the adjustability, although 27% found it confusing
On the mic connecting side, the mini-usb feels a little loose, indicating that it is not adjustable.
I compared the build quality of JLab microphone with Blue Yeti X microphone. JLab microphone has a more plasticky build quality than the Yeti, but it is lighter if you are looking toward portability.
The microphone provides crystal clear audio and is perfect for recording podcasts or voiceovers. The pop filter included helps to reduce unwanted noise and improve the overall sound quality.
