The drive is compatible with Windows/Linux/Android and probably Mac OSX as well, although I don't have a mac to test with.

The enclosure has a compact, sleek design with a built-in thermal pad that helps effectively dissipate heat. The sandwich design is fabulous and the sliding design of other brands makes it impossible to put the cover on once the drive is inserted with a thermal pad attached. I find this enclosure physically beautiful and well-designed.
