I love the push button release on the tripod and wish they made a standalone ball head just like it. I can hold the tripod and press the release with one hand, and hold and adjust the camera with the other.
There is no accidental releasing of the ball head while setting up the shot.
As soon as I release the button, the ball head locks into position tightly.
