I suggest keeping the freezer on middle or closer to 5 or 4 for a nice cold temperature, indicating my experience with temperature control of the compact-refrigerator.
I personally checked the temperature settings of the compact-refrigerator and found it to be fairly even throughout. I keep the fridge in the middle cold setting to avoid milk from spoiling faster and to experience some light freezing. It's not recommended to store ice cream in the pseudo-freezer.
