I found the cleaning performance of this mop to be good. I liked the fact that I could control when the water sprays and was able to cover quite a bit of area before the clean tank ran out. The mop also worked great on my area rug and the dirty water tank was nasty, which indicates that the mop was effective in cleaning the area rug.
