I have noticed complete healing in 3-6 days even when multiple sores pop up and a reduction in severity.
I have found that RELEEV medication sticks well to the cold sore without running off, as it comes out in a thick liquid form.

I recommend applying the treatment as soon as the cold sore appears. After applying, I never actually see the cold sore emerge but can still feel it slightly.
I suggest using a cotton swab with most of the cotton removed to apply the product as the application technique and applicator are not good.
