I experienced a burning painful sensation in my mouth and soreness in my teeth where they meet the gums after using the product. I stopped using it right away and it took about a week for the pain to go away. I tried to use it only on the cankers with a qtip, but it was somewhat difficult to do. I also felt the same pain when a tiny bit fell on a tooth.
