About Duracell - 2032 3V Lithium Coin Battery
Overall Feedback:
85% positive
74% found it compatible with various devices, while 26% experienced compatibility issues
I purchased a pack of CR 2032 Duracell batteries and 3 of them did not work in my car keys. I thought I was doing something wrong, but after replacing them with some unknown LiCB brand, I tested them using a multimeter and found that none of them had 3V, it was 2V or less. I am disappointed with the purchase.
I had a hard time getting the battery out and found that the batteries are sealed between two thin plastic layers, in between two cardboard layers.
The batteries worked fine in all my guitar tuners but not in Apple AirTags, which must use less tension or not very sharp contacts.
I bought the product for the purpose of using it with an airtag, but the bitter coating on the battery is annoying and needs to be cleaned off for it to work.
81% appreciated its long-lasting energy, though 19% found it didn't last as long as expected
These batteries worked fine in all my guitar tuners but definitely not in the air tags, which must use less tension or not very sharp contacts.
In my car keys, 3 out of 6 Duracell CR 2032 batteries did not work.
80% liked its leak-resistant design, but 20% experienced leakage issues
As an engineering student, I noticed a bitter coating on the battery and tested it.
I had difficulty getting the batteries out because they are sealed between two thin plastic layers and two cardboard layers, indicating a problem with their leak resistance.
86% praised for its reliable performance, while 14% experienced battery drain
The battery works fine like any other battery.
I tested the batteries with a multimeter and found that none of them had 3V. They were 2V or less, which was disappointing.

I tried to replace the battery of AirTag with a new one but it didn't work. However, when I put back the original battery, it worked. This indicates that the new battery is not compatible with the device.
Replacing it was easy and the car responded immediately, even from a distance.
