About Cuisinart SS-15BKS Coffee Center Maker, 12-Cup, Black
63% appreciated the size and fit, but 37% weren't satisfied
My Keurig can brew 5 sizes of drink, but Cuisinart only provides 3 with a maximum size of 10 oz.
The size of the coffee maker is misrepresented and the actual dimensions are different from what was mentioned in the product info.
65% liked the quiet operation, but 35% encountered noise issues
The coffee maker produces almost no noise compared to the grinding noise of the Keurig.
The single serve side of my coffee maker creates more noise than the stand alone Cuisinart Single Serve Brewing System.
The coffee maker is louder than my wife's alarm clock, making it impossible to brew a pot before she wakes up.
The beep sound when the pod side is finished is very loud and shrill. It also beeps 5 times and I can't turn it off.

67% were satisfied with the control options
I found the controls of the coffee-maker intuitive and appreciated the fact that they were not touchscreen, but instead had buttons and dials for everything.
I can mention the control options of the coffee maker, including the use of a charcoal filter, three heat settings for the carafe, and a 'bold' brewing feature.
64% found cleaning and maintenance easy, but 36% struggled
Cleaning the coffee maker is easy. I take out the piece the k cup slides into, rinse it and replace it properly. I also wipe down the portion up top that punctures the k cup.
Cleaning the carafe side is easy enough and can be left mostly unattended. However, cleaning the K-cup side is tedious and requires too much interaction during the process.
70% was satisfied with the temperature maintenance, but 30% experienced inconsistency
The coffee maker passed with flying colors, registering 195 degrees on two different thermometers.
The brewed water maxed out at about 184 degrees, which is lower than the recommended brewing temperature of 200 degrees +/-. Based on the water temperature immediately after the last drop, I think the coffee maker could brew a little hotter. This indicates a negative experience with the brewing temperature feature of coffee-makers.
64% found the brewing speed satisfactory, but 36% faced issues
The coffee maker brews k-cups very quickly, taking only about 1 minute after selecting the size.
The brewing speed of this coffee maker is slower than my former Cuisinart and Keurig.
65% appreciated the consistent brew quality, but 35% encountered issues
I noticed a difference in flavor between brewing ground coffee in the carafe vs. brewing ground coffee in the single serve. The brass screen in the single serve lets more of the coffee oils into the brew as compared to the paper filter, which I personally don't like.
