I suggest adding a control option for stronger brew in the coffee maker, allowing the hot water to linger a bit longer in the coffee grounds for a stronger cup.
The controls and lights on my coffee maker are on a nearly horizontal plate, making it difficult to see if it's still on unless I'm right in front of it. I suggest a vertical display, like the one on Mr. Coffee, would be more convenient.
The coffee maker only allows moving the numbers in one direction to set the clock, which is inconvenient for me. It takes 55 clicks to get the minutes right. Allowing backward as well as forward movement would cut the maximum number of clicks in half, as I suggest.
I find it inconvenient that the coffee maker does not have a timer to indicate how much time is left before it shuts off automatically. I keep the pot on all day, and the clock on the coffee maker does not help either as it does not indicate when the two hours are up.
