Programming the coffee machine is very difficult. You have to keep the program button depressed while pulsing the set-the-clock button for the hour and minutes you want the automatic brewing to begin. Don't lift your finger off the program button until you have set the hour and minutes.
It was difficult for me to program the coffee maker as it doesn't program the same way as my mr coffee maker. I had to hold the program button down while adjusting the delay time instead of just tapping it. It took me 2.5 mins to figure it out.
